Thursday, January 10th was our next to the last zone conference on our mission.  It was a good conference with President and Sister Leavitt and the Assistants, Elder Witts from Australia and Elder Bogosavac from Serbia. Our zone leaders, Elder Reneer (Lindon) and Elder Jolley (American Fork) did a great job presenting too.  Elder Reneer played IF YOU COULD HIE TO KOLOB, my favorite arrangement. I love to play it and actually brought it with me here. We had taco salad for lunch and lemon jello cake with whipped cream for dessert.

On Friday, the Leavitts came to our flat for lunch between interviews and we had a really good visit for over an hour.  We talked about the weekend of Jan. 31st to Feb. 3rd when we will have our next zone conference, our Swaziland district conference and the senior couples conference all that weekend!

We had a baptism last Sunday in our branch! Mbongiseni Nkambule baptized his wife, Zwakele.  He is an RM from the Uganda Kampala Mission and served there just after we did, under our same mission president. Their little girl is a cutie!!

Our zone leaders, Elder Jolley and Elder Reneer, after hiking way up the mountain to get firewood for Gogo Shabangu. We met them at the chapel, when they were cleaning the baptismal font and filling it with water.

Siphiwe Shongwe, our YW President (also a RM from the Uganda Kampala Mission after we served there) got photo bombed while getting her picture taken after church on Sunday.

We met the ZLs for a lesson with Masebenza and Simphiwe Msibi and a few of
their cousins last Sunday night, just after the power went out....

We checked our post office box yesterday, and there were Christmas cards from Julie's family, Jamie's family and Lynette and Chad Carling!!  We LOVE getting mail!!
