Our fun, crazy, busy weekend is almost over!  We spoke in our District Conference this morning and I played the organ one last time for the district.  Elder Wold and I spoke and I   surprised everyone by sharing my testimony in siSwati, (with a lot of help from Siphiwe Shongwe and from the Spirit)! It went well.... I had a very short amount of time between everything else going on the past four days, to learn it but I had faith and I did it! The members were very pleased and there were a lot of tears... President Leavitt commented that he could feel my love for them and their love for me as I bore my testimony, even though he could not understand it. Ü

We got home late last night  from Mugg N Bean at our last dinner with the senior couples.  They left to drive home at noon today, after conference was over.  We got home after 9:30 and then had to make sandwiches and put together 14 lunches for the couples to eat on their way home... I started working on my talk at about 10:30 pm....until after midnight!

Our cute Elder Hlatshwayo went back to Joburg with the Leavitts at 2:30 pm after the YSA meeting (from 12:30 until 2 :15 pm!) So we made a lunch for him too. We are sad to see him go, but another elder is coming to Joburg from Brazil and they needed him on that side.

Saying good bye to Elder Hlatshwayo with his two companions for the past 2 weeks,
our zone leaders, Elder Reneer and Elder Jolley.

* UPDATE: Elder Hlatshwayo is back!!  Monday afternoon, he flew here from Swaziland and we drove an hour and a half each way to pick him up from the airport at 5 pm!! He is SO happy to be back in Swaziland! (His dad is Swazi but they live in Durban.) It turned out that the mission got TWO, not just one NEW elder. They finally got their visas and will arrive in Johannesburg on Thursday!

"LIGHT THE WOLDS"  (Haha!!)

Our fun zone leaders, Elder Reneer and Elder Jolley,  and the Nhlangano elders, Elder Clawson and Elder Lee, did "Phase One of Light the Wolds" this month, by inviting us to Sunday dinner at their flat tonight!  It was YUMMY!!  We had Snickerdoodles and vanilla ice cream for dessert and played a game too!

Execution  Rock  from the Mantenga  Village

While the couples did the 30 minute tour of the village, we sat in the bakkie and watched the cute baby monkeys right in front of us as they played in the tree and on the fence...

This little guy started down the fence upside down and quickly swung back up!
The mom sat awhile to make sure we were not going to harm her babies!

Four other monkeys were playing on Sister Leavitt's car and sliding down
her windshield! She had little monkey footprints all over her windshield!

waiting for their wives to shop at the Mantenga Market...
(The men were good sports with all the shopping we did!!)
